Basscoast!

Once again, the amazing ladies of the Basscoast Project gave Luciterra and I one killer slot at this year's festival. We got to open the party on main stage - building up to midnight on saturday night! This is a quick look at the highlights of our show.

Thanks to Bombus and Kristine Cofsky for filming, and a second thanks to Bombus for the edit.

PS: Check out more Luciterra at www.luciterradance.com

PPS: Don't forget to watch in HD!

Swing break!

Got a great new number with luciterra to "Swing Break" by the McMash Clan.
Here's a killer action shot of our performance at the Rio by Dianne Smithers!

Whiskey Rain

Luciterra recently held their third annual spring student show, Whiskey Rain Revue!

It's always an honour to be the host of this show, and here's a great shot by Ruffio of Reckless photography to show how much I love my work!

Behind the Scenes of the Haunted House!

It's now december, and it's time to catch up on the last year! The next few posts may jump around a little, time wise... but hey, it's really about the pretty pictures...

Up first is a little behind the scenes look at the House of Forsaken Gods, the titles of this year's annual collaboration with the In the House Festival. As every year, there were trials and tribulations, logistical nightmares and mythic amounts of art...

Making a padded room, a labyrinth and a giant head; sourcing normal sized head, directing Prometheus and uh, cutting stuff...

Thanks to Amanda Bullick of Brutally Beautiful for the photos.

Thanks to Reckless Photography

Each month, I have to honour of acting as host for the Decadent Eccentric, a monthly show with fusion belly dance troupe Luciterra.

Here's a few photos by Rufio of Reckless Photography, who comes out to snap away every month. Thanks Rufio!

Demo reel with Luciterra

The festival season is coming up, and I'll mostly be touring with Luciterra Fusion Bellydance this summer. To get in the mood, here's a taste of our last year of shows. We perform on the last tuesday of every month at Guilt & Co. and book regular gigs around Vancouver plus our upcoming summer festivals. First one up is Lasqueti Island Arts fest, Canada day long weekend.
